And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love HIM, who have been called according to HIS purpose." Romans 8:28

On Dad's Watch
Today of all days Ezra picks up from the backyard a "turdsicle" as my husband proudly dubs it and attempts to put it in his mouth until Sophia screams "EEWWW!" as loud as possible for a 51/2 year old princess. Thankfully, Ezra chucks it away and it lands on the culprit Rocky's back. I can't really blame him because his sisters proudly gave him a rootbeer popsicle earlier, the flavor neither one of the girls like. Inside the mind of a 17 month old (brown cold popsicle= brown warm turd) Poor little guy! He needs some more street time before he can be left on his own!
I am a blogger!
Well it's my first time to "blog"...although I have just recently heard the word I feel like I am in the social circle if you will! In addition to my blog page I also operate my newly purchased blue tooth which means I am obeying the law while driving down the road. I have yet to get an Ipod, but I am sure it too will be in my arsenal of cool new gadgets in a matter of no time! I have to admit though with how fast the world is changing my dreams of a simple life in Walnut Grove keep calling me home. Even those long sleeved nightgowns and matching bonnets have a sort of sweet, serene simplicity about them that remind me that character and family are the most important things of all. My wonderful mother in law once made me a stitchery before Clint and I were even married that read "A good name is more desired than great riches" Proverbs 22:1 Isn't that what life is really about? The legacy we leave behind, what will we be remembered for? I hope my legacy is that I was a loving mother, an encouraging wife, and a fun friend, that I smiled more than frowned, and laughed as much as possible!
